I've always been partial to bugbears myself.
"oh hey, it's just a gobli-JESUSFUCKINGCHRIST"
Well it's still the Renaissance, and it's still Ezio. And he's probably gotten more Ezio over the years. I limited myself to a quick run of the first sequence as a means of playtesting/testing the disk/whatever.
He got propositioned for sex twice.
TWICE.
And he accepted both times.
It's the fucking prologue.
But I've always been the "ha ha ha, oh Ezio, you card" type when it came to his character. So I can overlook a lot of that stuff which may incite the scorn of some. Also, I play a lot of JRPGs, so I'm used to a protagonist with a tendency to do the absolute stupidest thing possible and royally fuck over everyone under the pretense that it's "the right thing to do" even when it goes completely against the character's morals and backstory.
You're a professional killer. You've killed a lot of people. You've murdered people who you weren't even sure were involved with things. You've killed people for doing their fucking job. You killed innocent bystanders in this war whose only crime was being brainwashed. Something that even you aren't immune to. And NOW is when you show restraint? Now? When a serious threat to the world is lying before you defeated and nobody would ever in a million years blame you for killing him. When he died historically, people rejoiced in the streets. His successor essentially stated that it's pointless to pray for him because he was such a bastard he's no doubt already in hell and nothing will ever save his soul. He has enough power to trample your entire country. And this is the guy you decide to spare? Goddammit Ezio. You deserved what happened.
And it isn't. I enjoyed it. Although avoid the UT classic purists. They'll whine. And whine. And whine. And so forth.![]()
Ezio is so awesome, he didn't kill a man just because he didn't give a fuck.
Holy crap, that roach was 10 times louder than the mole that was in here last week (but then, the mole was a quiet little guy).
On the bright side, it made it easy to track the thing down and kill it.
