Was reversing my 4th truck into a petrol pump and I died.

Watched the cut scene AGAIN, now I'm about to try this shit AGAIN. I've been on this fucking trophy for at least an hour.

How fucking fast were you reversing? Gas pumps aren't that fucking fragile.

Why not just grab the Walker Coupe from the SoCal Auto Club and repeatedly crash it.

    Seems easier and quicker.

This is for L.A. Noire? With all the talk about it on here, I was considering picking it up.

It's a good game, but dear God please don't not use a guide/not 5* every case on your first play through, cos you sure as hell won't be able to put up with the unskippable cut scenes.

I've been getting rare cars and destroying them, and crashing up loads of other cars and driving on pavements etc. Hopefully when I go to finish this case I'll have my 47k. If not, I'll be very annoyed, and as such LA Noire will probably be up for sale in the Pawn Shop here.

Are the investigations pretty good? I really haven't looked into this at all. I generally don't like Rockstar games, but they seem to be trying new stuff, so I wouldn't be against giving them another try.

Well it wasn't anything to do with Rockstar, they just let Team Bondi have the engine I think. Everything about this game was developed by Team Bondi, Rockstar just published...

Anyway yes it's a very interesting game.

Quoting earlier post because I desperately need some advice here. Do I keep pushing my point of view across? Do I back off? Do I take another approach entirely? Keep in mind it's entirely possible this person may decide to never talk to me again if I continue pressing the issue.

I would say it really depends on your relation to them and what they're doing. If it were someone like my brother, I'd push the topic until he got how serious I was about it. If it were a friend, I'd tell them what I think the best course of action is and leave it up to them. But if it's life-endangering, then you might want to consider talking to someone of their family or someone who specializes in the problems this person is facing.

And if they'll stop talking to you over it, the biggest question is which is more important: keeping in touch with them or getting something through their head/getting them help?

Sorry I can't suggest anything of real substance
