That the modern use of the word 'ironic' to mean a cruel or unusual coincidence is technically incorrect, yet has quickly become more widespread than any of the correct meanings of the word.

I frequently use my double entendres ironically.

But that got old so I stopped.

    Now I use them unironically.

But somehow I get the feeling I'm still being ironic somehow.

The cable company advertising their super-saiyan fast Internet by saying "download music, movies and games faster than ever", then sending you a cease and desist letter for downloading music, movies and games faster than ever.

Hah, I actually laughed at this in real life, because it's so, so true...

Those fight sequences are shot in incredible bullet time.

In actuality, that transformation takes mere seconds, with a lot of fights lasting around a minute rather than the 3 hour or so average.

To an outside observer, the whole anime would appear as a blur.

    ...

It saddens me that I know this.

Yeah, considering the fight with even Raditz said that he was moving at the speed of light (or, at least, when he avoided Piccilo's special beam cannon).

So, in a manner of speaking, super saiyans move exponentially faster than the speed of light, especially when the show got ridiculous.

    YAY
