It's ironic because the intercepting fist style is a cool fighting technique, but I hate it in conversation. I guess that's why I love talking online: some dumb fuck isn't able to keep cutting you off mid sentence. I notice it a lot on TV during interviews as well; i.e. the host controls the conversation by regulating how much they will let their guest divulge before bitch slapping their train of thought in the middle of an idea. It just seems like a crude way to handle things.
I usually notice it on portuguese political debates.
I think it was last week.
There was a debate about the portuguese expansion of railways, and the expenses they are having with it, considering the state of the country.
Politician #1 = Well, the thing is Portugal needs the railways, because turism...
Politician #2 = IT'S A LIE! ALL HE'S SAYING IT'S A LIE!
Unfortunately, that's how things work nowadays.
