I'm still fairly early into it. Atmosphere-wise, it has bits of SotC/ICO since you're completely isolated from the rest of the world and you need to defeat 12 boss monsters to achieve your goal and lift the curse from this girl you're trying to save. Core gameplay seems Zelda-ish so far, I guess? Maybe. Jumping, swinging, hacking and slashing and looting. No complex puzzles so far, but that might change. I've only beaten two bosses so far, but the second one was somewhat interesting. Your problem is that it moves too quickly and you can't get a good shot at its weak point. So you had to connect its legs to a bunch of rocks with your chain whip to slow it down. Not really "deep tactics" but it's only the second one, and there's 10 more, so they might come up with some interesting stuff. I have a feeling it's not going to be an outstanding game, but it's not too bad so far.

And that's the opinion of a guy who's only 3-4 hours into it. Take that for what it's worth.
