I blame Steam .

Mine is a 2.6 ghz dual core and It lags like hell on lowest settings.

Yeah. If you're getting visual lag, it's probably the video card.

Alternatively, type "dxdiag" into the "Run" prompt. Or the search prompt in the Start menu, if you're on Vista/7.

Ended up getting a 160 from a used store here for the same price. I got Disgaea 3, Eternal Sonata, and Trinity Universe along with it. They were running a buy two get one free on everything except consoles and new accessories !

Problem found. HP and other companies like to cheap out and use low end integrated cards.

It sucks big time dood, I have one in another computer. I'm putting my 2400HD in there once I get the 5670.

Do you know if the mobo has any open PCI-E x16 slots? They're the long ones in this picture, though the color is most likely different. Bottom one is a regular PCI slot, which you should have several of.
