    Already is.

I really don't get why it stopped working after being fine for 2-3 years, and in the same place. Or why the desktop disconnected from the wireless when I tried to hook the PS3 up through it and still refuses to obtain an IP (or the router suddenly refuses to give it one) even after reverting all settings

After writing that post I thought you would have already known that but decided to write it anyway, just in case.

It sounds like the router is the problem, could you manually set an IP for each device (tedious for the PS3 I know) if DHCP is not working?

    Needs more dropkicks.

Alternatively, I've been right about your gremlin status this whole time.

It's enjoyable, for the most part. I work with other people, obviously, but I don't really need to deal with them unless I need help with something. A few of them are really fun to work with, which is nice since we're all in competition with one another. One lady is a complete bitch, but she's still tolerable. The customers are mostly nice, and my best sales so far have been with genuinely fun people. Still need to find out what my sales goals are and what commission is, though. It won't be anything substantial, since I'm also paid hourly, but it'd be nice to know.

I also need more comfortable shoes. And to get adjusted to more activity after spending the past couple of months sitting around doing nothing. My calves hurt from running up and down the stairs in the stockroom.

And moar clothes. For some reason, they don't want me wearing jeans and video game t-shirts on the job.

Not right now. I don't like bothering my aunt and uncle (particularly since I never know when they're asleep at night, which is the only time I'm usually up), and my father apparently either forgot to write the system password down, didn't see it, or didn't see my note asking him to this morning.

Though if that were the case, wouldn't it refuse to give any new devices an IP? Pretty sure my father hooked up a new laptop he was repairing to it earlier today.

    I couldn't imagine why.

Unsure but you have to have some form of satellite or cable in the first place. The sat ones like to start at some low rate and then jack it up to $60+ a month.

And I live in the middle of nowhere so I can't get cable.

Sounds like a decent job, then. Commission on jobs where you also receive an hourly rate is usually pretty low, but it's still something. It's nice to be rewarded for hard work sometimes, and establishing a customer base. If you're on your feet all day, though, you're definitely going to want to grab some comfortable shoes. I wonder where you could go to buy those...

And life for me has been... pretty bland, honestly. Been playing a lot of video games, which is kind of nice. Found out I'm not gonna get fucked over by family maintenance (who are going to be handling child support payments to my ex from now on), so that's pretty sweet. My child support payments is actually going down by $13 a month to $267, instead of the $280 I've been paying and the $320 that she wants. Beyond that... just taking it easy waiting on my surgery and spending Father's Day alone.

Also, eating lots of pasta. Because pasta.

Like I said, I'm certainly not expecting anything fantastic, but it would be nice to have a rough idea how much I can expect at the end of a day. Even a tiny bit extra can make a difference when it comes to needing to buy food, or having a little bit to set aside for a new game or something. We also get a few bucks cash whenever we get someone signed up for a credit account, but I haven't had any luck with that yet.

There are tons of shoes I'm already in love with, but unfortunately none that would be work appropriate. I have some shoes I bought for nursing school, but since they're white, they don't match anything I would wear to work. There are some super comfortably shoes at work, but even with my discount they're expensive, and the higher end brands are usually excluding from any sales or coupons that may be running. Plus, I only get paid every two weeks, and my first check is only going to be for about 29 hours, only 12 or so of which were spent on the sales floor.

Today's the first day I've played anything for about four or five days, it feels like it's been forever.

You just need to do what happened with my parents. Have another kid with her, have one live with her and one with you, then call it even when it comes to child support. My dad paid every month when my sister and I lived with my mom, but then I moved down here when I was 12 or so, and that was the end of that.

Happy Father's Day, then~ Even though I always thought it was super weird to send wishes to people who aren't actually related to me on such days.

    Bleh, pasta.
