There are a few titles that I want to grab. I just... have trouble justifying a $59.99 price tag.
If I buy it from work I can get 10% off, which would knock it down to $53.99... if I buy it next weekend, instead of this weekend, we're having another no-tax event, so I won't pay any taxes on it as well. And I have $20 in PC Points saved up, which would knock it down to $33.99...
... I'll have to think about this one long and hard, I think.
Uncharted 1
Duke Nukem Forever
LittleBigPlanet2
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Umm... probably a couple of other things as well.
Also, Alice has been getting mixed reviews. But it seems like the kind of game that I would enjoy. Also, it appears that it comes with an online pass for a free download of a console version of American McGee's Alice in Wonderland (the original game from 2000), which I freaking loved.
My brother just bought Duke and Alice. He has been going on and on about how he played the original Alice back in 2000 or whatever. Whoopee, it looks like a Low end PC game, even on the 360. Nothing was upgraded as far as I know, but there are 6 achievements. He has yet to play the new one though.

One of the things holding me back from getting Uncharted is that it is pretty cheap right now. I want to try one of these newfangled games and stop picking stuff up a couple of years after they come out. And I loved American McGee's Alice for the PC. And yes, Jazz, I realize there probably weren't any graphic updates to it -- it's just a port, not a full retexturing, and the game is eleven years old -- but it's still a really fun game. And I've forgotten most of the story to it. Also, since Uncharted is cheap, I'd rather save that one for when I don't have too much money and want to buy a game.
Duke Nukem Forever, I can probably hold off on. And I'm still playing through LBP, so I probably shouldn't grab LBP2 until after I beat that...
So basically, it's down to Uncharted (cheap), Alice (want), Castlevania (interested, but not must have)... oh, and Heavy Rain, because Cookie recommended it (also, cheap).
Seeing everyone picking up Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS made me nostalgia hard, although I never really played it myself I remember both my mam and my uncle playing it to death, the music, the setting...
It looks like there's finally a game worth owning for the 3DS now too.![]()
