A lot of Vita, but I guess we all saw it coming.

At least Vita seems to be starting out at the point the PSP ended up at relatively late in its life cycle. Could turn out okay. Possibly. We'll see if they keep the stream going (PSP didn't, and then bad things happened)
It wasn't Kinect, and anything is better than that.

Played some L.A. Noire at a friend's place.

Man, the face work on the character models is serious shit.

    I didn't read it.

Once games are downloadable only, only playable by swinging your arms like a lunatic or are completely streamed through the internet... I think I'll give up gaming and probably have a stab at getting a life instead.

I don't like the thought of not having a ton of games on a shelf to pick and choose from, as opposed to a list on a computer/console where I can choose and load my games. Call me old fashioned...

Yeah, that's something I don't like about PC gaming, to be honest. :/ It's a steep price to pay for the better platform.

Stupid as it is, I'm prone to buying games that have an outer box .

I felt exactly the same way until I tried it. And the only reason I tried it was because I had a code for a free game. Then I realized I could play that game anywhere, on any computer I wanted to, and on the console...which is free if you buy select games.

    Really, it's a no brainer.
