Don't get me wrong, it's not that they're not good, it's just the adjustments I have to make every generation or so make it just harder to play the games. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure will always hold a special place in my heart.

Not too much of that. Most of the time, especially with the higher level players, it's less about playing against the characters, and more about playing against the player. However their is a gratuitous overuse of the terms "free", "salty", and "bodied".

I have trouble going back and playing previous generation fighting, like if there was enough mechanical changes from one generation to the next, I normally can't get back into the older games.

Same difference . KoF has yet to introduce something that has a real effect on how I play. I play 98 - XII on a regular basis and there is no real adjustment beyond remembering what moves they have.
