Oh, Ruby. When will you ever stop acting like a bitch and actually listen to Max? Every episode, he shows that he knows what he's doing.
Fucking kid's shows.![]()
So, I'm working on this story. It's supposed to be a deconstruction of the modern ideas of heroism and the various grays that go with it. Got basic superheroes, punisher style vigilanties, shonen fighting guys, occult detectives, ect. So I'm writing this part that takes place in a sort of psychic prison where I'm gonna try and start the building blocks of my own little mythology for my stuff and explore the issues eating at a few characters. Then I have a thought....why not make my two male shonen teen hero guys gay? Seems silly at first, but I've already written them really close and it would be a good way to add some depth to them. Also, I realized the symbolism I made in their styles and outfits, sun and moon, could instantly connect to romance and not just the fact one is the smart guy with issues and the other is the dumb guy who lifts people's spirits.
Wonder if I should...
My brother loves that show.
I'll probably watch a couple more episodes of Six Feet Under after he goes to bed, but I don't really like watching "grown up" shows while he's awake, 'cause he likes to watch with me.
Yeah, it's a Canadian TV show made by Treehouse. It's actually pretty good -- it doesn't have the stereotypical selfishness, self-centered bitching that most kid's shows seem to have (re: Elmo, Max & Ruby, etc...). It's actually pretty entertaining.
