I'm actually looky to import persona 2 tsumi right now. a used copy of it is less than half the price of a used copy of eternal punishment on Amazon
Yeah I've played an NES, an SNES, a Dreamcast, a Genesis and a Saturn, also an Atari and a Colecovision. Never actually owned any of them because over half of them came out before I was born. First console I ever had was a Playstation 1.
I used to cheat at video games all the time but rarely to make the game easier. The most recent gaming sin I've committed was using cheats to get through Saint's Row. I'm currently atoning for it by 100%ing Saint's Row 2.
Word. I have JP versions of stuff like Powerstone, MvC, CvS and Project Justice (Burn! Justice Academy is the actual name) because of the big price difference.
I criticize my friends for cheating, then last weak i used my brothers action replay on some of my ds games, even more sinful (to me) is that i used it to help me beat final fantasy 3.
Someday I shalt be human again
My sisters and I used to "Borrow" my mothers credit card and sign up for a new isp every month for a free 1 month trial so we could play Warcraft 2 and Starcraft online lol
I'm listening but I don't hear very much...
I had to think pretty hard about this. Either I've been a reasonably good boy, or I have no conscience whatsoever. Both are equally probable. After much deliberation, I have decided that my habit of "screen peeking" during same-screen multiplayer is actually a strategy (not a sin), and so I guess my biggest gaming sin would have to be taking 5 years to finish Final Fantasy on the NES.
I wanted Final Fantasy for my 9th birthday, after seeing the way-cool Nintendo Power strategy guide. I got it and played it for awhile, but got stuck trying to clear the Marsh Cave, always getting killed on the way (I was far too impatient to level-up properly then). The game went back in the box, and rarely came out after that. Fast forward 5 years...
After playing through EarthBound (Mother 2) a couple times and getting a taste for RPG's again, I revisit Final Fantasy and finished it after 2-3 weeks of solid play. Wondered why I hadn't before.
Why hadn't I finished FF1 before? Let's see...oh, I know! It's because you'd NEED the friggin' strategy guide on your lap the whole time to play it effectively. Without it, you have no way to know which weapons work for which party members, and which spells you can use effectively and what the heck they actually do. In short, the game would be a royal pisser if you didn't have the NP guide. You'd have to go by trial and error, buying worthless items you can't use, only to sell them back to the weapon shop for half what you paid. And go back to hours of mindlessly killing Giants and Ogres for Gold. Ugh. Not exactly interesting to a 9-year-old kid who'd rather be stompin' Goombas or stabbing Moblins... I guess I'd learned some better patience and tenacity by age 14.
Well, there's a wall of text for ya... enjoy.Actually, this post brings another gaming "sin" to mind. I've never been able to get into another Final Fantasy game since the first one. Guess it sorta set the tone for my relationship with the series. Oh, well.
Maybe someday I'll try 'em again.

I've been bragging about how i 100% Final Fantasy 10 without a strategy guide to all of my friends, but the truth is, after owning the game since it came out, i didn't actually beat sin (and the rest of the game) until last summer. I just decided to stop playing after continuously trying to beat sins final form, and i saw the ending when my brother beat it anyways.

Lol. I once was watching my dad get sooo angry at tomb raider when it first came out. he tried for a few hours to get past a spot and once he got up I ran in and tried, but was successful.Got smacked up pretty good for that one. lol. and Ive also chewed a full ps2 controller out of anger once. XP
I Bought Painkiller Overdose
I've also played Big Rigs... by choice not being forced
I got Final Fantasy X when I got my PS2 back in May of 2002. I have yet to beat it.
I am unable to replay ffvii, while ago I beat it 100% and now I am unable to play it past the shinra building.
I have never played on any actual system older then the Ps2.

Bennieboi's Question Of The Day (now defunct)
I have 240+ Steam games, 40+ PS3 games, and various others... I maybe beat 10% ;/
Then you will love to hate what some call (on YouTube *hint**hint*) "cat mario". Under its more official name, it has been ported to Wii (obtainable on the Homebrew Browser if anyone is interested).
Yes, as you might of guessed, a modded Wii... but it sucks playing SSBB and it crashing on the credits (video segments-"scrubbed" version)... at least I don't hack online in Mario Kart Wii (except against hackers/Funky Kong abusers/combo of the two -- they make the game less fun for everyone it seems)
You're lucky. I cannot have that many at once! ... well have them in my room and stay neat.
Wait a second... am I reviving this thread??? weird...

Wait, wait, wait.
What's wrong with Painkiller? Given I have the 3 pack and redemption.
I've never gotten through the Forest of Illusion(s?) in Super Mario World, and not for lack of trying. I watched a video at some point on how to do it, but I haven't played it since, and this has ALWAYS bugged me.
Also, this isn't so much a sin as an annoyance to those around me, but I never had trouble with the Water Temple in OoT, but never managed to help my friends through it when they asked. Not that I didn't want to, just preferred playing multiplayer when I was around.
Edit: Also, I didn't own an NES, but I was young and played my uncle's a lot.
