6 Episodes a DVD isn't too bad, you can fit about 8 and maintain watchable quality.

I dont bother burning my anime.
I dont have enough DVDs, my laptop cant burn them, my desktop can, but if it even reads the blank DVD youre lucky.
Also, my laptop has a widescreen 720p plasma screen, so i dont mind.

I burn TV shows as data DVDs, that's about it. I can play anything I want on my PS3 or computer, there's no point in burning video DVDs .
