I haven't really played much since I finished Radiant Historia, so I can symphatize. I pretty much went into anime mode instead. My backlog is quite enormous there as well. So much shit to catch up on, plus there's already a bunch of ongoing shows I'm following.

I don't care for emulation if I can avoid it, using my TV as the monitor and playing in fullscreen is alright.
