I would play more PC games if my hardware were better. But then again, I would have better hardware if it wasn't so expensive.
The only reason I can play the console games that I do is becuase of piracy.
EP~
Thats what they call it. I jumped in without any knowledge of the gameplay, but now wish for more. Maybe its becuase of the games I like, but I want Active time battles and a world map.

You guys think thats bad, you should try gaming on my Dell D600 with its Awesome ATi Radeon Mobility 9000 32MB![]()
Is this where I post the obligatory "PC gaming isn't actually as expensive as some people tend to say" comment?![]()
Also, I want to punch the people involved with that Extra Credits show on The Escapist. So much pretentious bullshit. SO, SO MUCH.
Well im 50/50 on that if your initial investment is a decent amount to get some good gear in it can last ya a while, but that involves some moola for that, after you can be all good for like 3 years maybe 4
If you go low end then your upgrading every few months it feels and ends up your pc is a huge money vacuum
But ya it can be expensive i aint denying it
The thing is, you don't necessarily have to get the most high-end machine. Mine isn't one and I've been using it since early 2008. I shake my head every time I see some random smartass posting something about PC gaming forcing you to buy a computer for thousands (!) of bucks, or having to upgrade every few months. That is so not true.
And that wasn't specifically aimed at you, Jazz, so don't worry.Just my overall 2 cents.
