Mine has a high gloss finish on it, and it's super resistant to wear (i played WoW and CoD daily for about a year and the WASD keys and such are all fine.) But because of the glossy finish, it collects dead skin off your fingers, and it basically makes it look like your fingers are made of solid dirt when you go to clean it.
I have to clean it about once a week
Now that I have my netbook, I've used that one about twice, and it's primarily my boyfriend's computer at this point.
He never cleans it. I refuse to touch it.
