For a second there, I thought my washing machine broke down. Luckily, it didn't.

The only good thing that comes out of this is these keys were starting to get worn down, anyways. And it came out to $8 with shipping, which isn't bad at all. Hopefully.

Did the dryer fall on it?

    So, tomorrow's Monday.

Friday morning, I got a response by email to one of the applications I submitted. I spent about 40 minutes answering some questions and responded just before leaving for my exams at 08:30.

I'm hoping that I'll hear back from them tomorrow. Not knowing anything is making me crazy.

Thankfully, it didn't. I'm not you, after all. Though it smelled like something shorted out, but after unplugging everything and twisting a few knobs, it started working again.

Just once, could someone else break something for a change in a completely retarded way?
I'm starting to feel like an idiot.

The keys on my netbook (which I've had since October) are slightly textured. In some places, like the far right side of the space bar where I hit it with my right thumb, the texturing has worn off, making it look shiny and oily and weird.

It's perfectly clean. I wash my hands and my keyboard constantly. But it's making me crazy.

    I haven't broken anything recently.

I did accidentally fling my phone down on the concrete outside a few hours ago, but nothing happened except that a few more scratches were added to the thousands already on it.

I broke my silence with laughter because of this. Does that count?

This is pretty much what's happening to mine. In particular on the right side of the spacebar. Because I use my right thumb to hit space. And on some of the more frequently used keys, the letters are starting to wear off.

I spend too much time no my computer, I think. Although I'm not necessarily the "cleanest" person, by any stretch of the imagination.

More like really unlucky, I'd say.

When I was out in Kamloops for my training, it snowed fairly heavily. I may have been walking somewhere and slipped on some ice while checking my phone. I may have flung it into the snow about ten feet away as I fell.

Still works, though. She don't look purdy, though.

    Acer is always a pain.

Too many models, not enough information on the model of keyboards.

Pretty much. I found a semi reputable looking site that had fairly detailed information on how to order based on the retainer clips and whatnot. I think I got what I need.
My credit card is already on fraud alert, anyways.

The lettering is fine on mine, it's just the texture that's wearing off. Also on the left side of the right shift key, and some of the letters. The touchpad also has a smoother circle in the middle of it.
