It's exactly the same as the old one, just a different colour. It was supposed to come out the same time as the black one but it got delayed for some reason. The iPhone 5 might be out in the Autumn or they might hold off until next year apparently. Who knows?

That's just the thing, it's exactly the same as the old ones. Why pay for a old model when a new one is coming out next month?

If it is coming out soon they're certainly doing a better job of keeping it under wraps this time. I wanted a new phone anyway but I specifically got this one on a 12 month contract so if the new model is considerably better I can sell mine after a year, along with the iPod Touch. If on the other hand I don't want to upgrade I'll just stick with the 4 and use it with a Pay As You Go SIM. Happy either way.

Buy one if you can't wait any longer, I don't think you'd regret it or really miss out on anything crucial compared to the 5th gen when it comes out. I've been really happy with my 4th gen, plus they're a fair bit cheaper now. With Apple stuff it's best to wait for a couple of generations before you upgrade anyway.

My mam came across a shelf in the cupboard today which I've claimed, it holds all of my PS3 games and will take more too.
