Maybe, there was an insane amount of space on the desktop though. Since I never plan on using it for a monitor, it doesn't matter much .

If you aren't looking at a minimum 2 screens at a time, you are not a true pimp.
Having dual screens on a monitor isn't so easy.

I need a desk or something. This old computer workstation looks it's going to fall apart at any moment.

I never understood having multiple monitors, it taxes your video card unnecessarily.

It also allows you more screen space. Which is good when you're doing something complicated. Looking up a guide while playing a game? Running an instant messenger while surfing the web? Suddenly feel the urge to look something up while checking your e-mail? Yeah, it does that.

Once you go multi-screen, there's no going back.

And god help you if you go multiple machine. I feel so limited when I'm down to ONE SCREEN, ONE COMPUTER. It's like someone cut my arm off.

(it's only really a problem if you have a low grade card anyway. In my case, no machine is hooked up to more than 2 screens. )

How do you find space for five screens?!

I messed around with dual screen on my desktop for a bit. While it seemed neat, it was a bit of a room-killer. And using a 19" and 15" monitor in dual setup is really weird.

I could probably get used to it if I was using two of the exact same monitor. Otherwise silly little things would drive me nuts, like "This screen is half an inch higher than that screen," or "The colours are slightly different."

Standard sized desk, next to mini 2-person table, with an old TV stand next to it, and a small cart that I use to move my laptop around this place for the times when I'd rather be on the couch.

    It's quite simple, really.

    Pics or BS.

You have to show that 5 monitor beast setup off.

Yeah my grandad has a 17" monitor and my uncle's spare monitor is a 17", they both look almost identical with the same resolution. I think if I'm honest I'd rather use two 17"s than a horrible 21" or so widescreen...
