I've been having the shittiest luck with LPs, lately. Still trying to figure out what has been going wrong... I think it's a framerate issue, 'cause even the source audio is desynced from the source video, without me altering anything.

I've tried a bunch of different programs. Ulead was giving me a shitload of problems, so I tried a freeware program called CaptureFlux. Also tried a couple of other freeware programs, but I didn't like them too much. All of this is running through my EasyCAP.

I haven't tried your "run the audio through Audacity" trick yet, but I think that's going to be next on my list.

Finally installed FF4. It's definitely better than 3, speedwise. But the lack of a permanent status bar at the bottom and the layout of the top bar bother me. Yes, I know you can move it all around, but it still doesn't feel quite right.
