Nothing better than meeting a couple of old pals for beers this evening. Four years? Sweet merciful Christ.

I can't wait to play the first Quake again on the N64, I was always quite scared of it as a kid... Those freaky zombies.

I loved playing Quake II on N64 though.

    Quake II + N64 + Expansion pack =

That's why I'm holding off getting Quake II, as I don't have an expansion pack yet.

The sound of Stroggs being gibbed with a laser pistol is still ingrained in my mind to this very day.

Been invited to a friend's house next friday by another friend.

Hopefully it doesn't go to shit, as it could be the beginning of me having a social life again...

If it does, look on the bright side. At least you finally have an N64 again.

They want me to go out drinking though. I'm not sure if I want to, but I'm incredibly put off by having to ask my "mam's permission" I'm nearly 20, but she wouldn't like me being out in town late at night around drunken morons whilst possibly intoxicated myself.

I want to experience it at least once for myself so I can decide if it's for me or not...

Yeah, if you want to try it you should do it at least once. Plus you get to hang out with your mates so yeah. Your mum will probably be glad you're seeing old friends again dude.
