This place is deader than Ray's last girlfriend, so I guess I'll go ahead and finish Torchlight. Adios.
Nah, it's not really too hard. I could teach you how to play, Since there's no story all you do is battle and gain cards/equipment/levels. So the only thing you're really paying attention to are the stats on the cards. HP/ATK/DEF/MAG/AGI, which all have graphical icons so it's easy to tell which is which. I guess the only deciding factor to you playing is if you own a wii?
Although, I have been toying around with trying to see if I can translate some stuff. The main goal would be to translate the cards of course. I've already found some of the equipment card text in one of the files on the disc image. It has an easy file structure, and l;ike most modern DQ games I've encountered, it's text is mainly uncompressed, and it uses SHIFT-JIS format. Which makes it a bit easier to edit.
Nah, I don't own a Wii unfortunately.I love the DQ series though, so I'll definitely have to check it out when I finally save up for a Wii. I could see a DQ card game being really fun though.
Good luck in your hacking expeditions, that would be cool to see it translated. Although I don't know if they plan on localizing it or if a group is already working on it or something. I just hate knowing that certain games will never see an English release. :/
As far as I've read there's no plan right now to release it over here. Also, since I'm really familiar with the DQ universe, it would be easy to translate the monsters names and such. Since they're all from DQ1-9, including the bosses.
Speaking of, I'm going to hook my Wii back up in my room and play a bit and try to collect more cards.![]()

It would be awesome if it finally had a fully functional Dreamcast emulator. They demo'd it almost 2 years ago and I haven't heard about any progress since.
Other than that it's mainly a bunch of homebrew, linux open-source ports of PC games engines(ex. Tyrian, Freeciv, Free Heroes, etc.), and emulators.
I would be very hard pressed to purchase something like like this for $500 when my PSP performs the majority of it's functions already minus the keyboard. Although with my PSP-1000 I could technically use a iR keyboard with certain hombrew programs.
