He returns, laughing. The game? Dragon Quarter, my very own aborted LP attempt.
At this point, we remark that perhaps this is a sign of some kind, and I attempt to put it off my shoulders by mentioning that perhaps the universe is telling him to complete my project for me. But alas, he cannot for his PS2 is dying.
And this is when I realize: I stopped LPing because I was busy. I cannot search for work right now due to various reasons that suddenly came up. Plenty of free time. I no longer maintain the active lists, meaning that I have more free time there. Prude's computer broke a few days, so talking with her is somewhat less common and more difficult than previously. More free time. Capcom announces a game that appears to be a sequel to DQ. It turns out not to be. It raised my hopes then crushed them.
So basically the whole reason I stopped doing LPs went away, and my departed project is coming back to haunt me.
I'm scared. Hold me.
