Yeah, MK 1-3 were great. I don't remember 4 being too bad at the time but it's aged horribly. Although I was 10, so that may have had something to do with it.It's MK, what would you expect?

The only shortfall of the plot is that it set up a sequel that never happened.Story wise, it was a failure, in my opinion.

I like to keep my memories of MK the way they are by just playing only MK1-2 over the years.The move to 3D sort of killed it back then. The new MK is hella fun, but part of me wishes they'd make an old school 2D game on the new systems, as in hire a bunch of martial arts professionals and do the bluescreen thing again. That would be great in HD.
