nintendo has this REALLY bad habit of censoring the hell outa games, especialy if there is any religious content. just google about nintendo and censoring n see just how bad it is.

They missed some stuff in Ocarina of Time, but fixed it in later releases of the game (late editions of the gray cartridges, and the GCN/WiiWare releases).
Namely, Muslim chanting in the Fire Temple and the crescent moon and star symbol on the Mirror Shield and most of the movable blocks, which are also present on many Middle Eastern flags (Pakistan, Turkey, etc...), which some believe they removed because it could be seen as Link trampling all over many countries symbols of power and knowledge.

Nintendo has never really done 'bloody' anyway. It's mostly themes present in the work.

Nintendo has always been more "family oriented" with their gaming. I'm assuming it's part of their business model... if they start releasing gory as fuck games, they lose that credibility as being suitable for (almost) all ages. There have been a few exceptions with some of their games, like Conker's Bad Fur Day, but for 98% of the games, it holds true.
