The best reason to own the expansion pak was the high-res textures in games like Quake II, Rogue Squadron, etc.

Oh, and the bonus of being able to play epic games like Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, etc.

And it let you play HUEG games like Perfect Dark, Zelda Majora's Mask, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Tooie etc. Truly was an incredible device!
