Cancer is actually not something I'm well versed in. We're not ever allowed to have cancer patients at the hospital, because of the risks and extra training required with the treatments and such.

They're lovely. Except technically they're men's pants. But hey, they have pockets, and women's pajamas never have pockets. And they lack that gigantic, quick access hole over the genital region.

Problem is, they're YOUR deformed cells.

So as far as medicine/immunity goes, anything that kills them will kill your own cells too. Which is why even though it's pretty well understood treating it is a complete bitch, never mind that doing it in a way that doesn't run serious risks is a biological nightmare.

Which is why all known cancer treatments are a bitch.

Cause they can't (figure out how to) cure your infected cells.

I read an article today that they had developed a pill that could suppress cancer cells so that having cancer would basically become a manageable disease rather than a fatal one. Not sure how much credence there was to it, it was in a pamphlet for a "Cops for Cancer" or "Bike for Cancer" charity or something like that and didn't cite any sources.

I remember in the 90s when they could kill cancer cells with sound, and treated over 2000 patients before the guy in charge died.
