Well, I just really wanted a more direct way of making a beat 'em up than trying to do it in Game Maker.
In other words I'm lazy.
But I wasn't going to use pre-made sprites from KOF or anything, I was going to draw all my own sprites from scratch like I've been doing with GM.
I'm writing a comic book, and I wanted to turn it into a beat 'em up so as to amuse my friends.
