The star is completely asymmetrical, the coins are grotesquely shaped, the colors were terribly planned (or not planned at all, I just drew the shaped, colored them, and realized that they weren't grouped very well). Also, what's up with that really girly star dust stuff, this is going on a male arm, Milady. I could complain all day about it.

For anyone who's terribly curious though, I suppose you can take a peek.

Also, I hope you don't mind Drag, but Jazz and I have decided that the next time you have a tattoo contest, we're working together. So we're just going to get started on designing tattoos for the rest of your body.

It's good that you're being so hard on yourself, since it can lead to improvement, but it's really not that bad at all. The stuff you listed are valid complaints, but in the end, relatively minor things. A bit more focus and a ruler can solve those issues easily.

    I'm thinking something Pokeball related.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I was just rushing a quick sketch out since it was due the next day. That is, until Jazz sauntered in here and got an extension. It was a fun little project, but I essentially ran out of time to work on it, extension or no. Next week is spring break for me, which means I've had a pile of projects to finish and exams to study for during the past couple of weeks. It's nice to just pick up a pencil again after so long though, whether the result is terrible compared to the rest of my sketchbook or not.

I can see him at the bar now.

"Hey ladies. You gotta catch 'em all. "

And I was thinking Glover's ball. That way it looks a bit more normal when he has his hand there.

It's okay. If there's a next time, you'll totally aim for perfection. *von Karma whiplash*

I personally find drawing extremely relaxing, actually. I'm pretty terrible, but that is beside the point.

    DO IIIITTT!!!
I actually want to get most of my torso done, over the years. I have one sketch that I still want to use, but beyond that everything is just conceptual at the moment. DRAW TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT AND I SHALL INK THEM PERMANENTLY INTO MY SKIN.

Since I'm getting surgery done on it, shouldn't it be a Hoberman Sphere?

I'm assuming he won't get any more tattoos before May, after which I'll be done with school, and all my free time will actually be mine! In that case I'll have plenty of time for perfection. In the meantime, I'll simply contemplate what being a(n) prosecutor artist really means. Milady chooses death!

It can be relaxing, but I prefer to have long amounts of uninterrupted time to dedicate to whatever I'm working on. It's hard for me to start something, then come back and finish it. My sketchbook is absolutely full of half finished ideas that I just sort of lost the inspiration for after having to shift my attention to something else. And all you need is practice to improve. Not everyone is absolutely wonderfully innately talented in drawing, but I'm convinced it's something that can be improved with work, much like handwriting.

Opened it back in February. I even left it run a week later than I intended. The entire idea behind this was to have this as a birthday gift to myself, because I don't get birthday gifts anymore and want something to mark each year that goes by. It's the same thing that I'm planning for Father's Day (last year I got a barcode on my wrist of my son's birthdate, this year I'm thinking about getting his footprints or handprints or something. )

See, it comes back to bite everyone. Sorry to you, ISH (I refuse to type out that name in a regular conversation, so you are now officially "ISH" to me ), especially since if you worked in a tattoo parlor you would probably have some pretty decent ideas that could go into this, but I have a basic idea of what I want and hopefully can get it booked today. Provided I find a printer that doesn't suck my right nut.

This might get difficult communicating ideas over the internet, so we both have to meet in Canada and sharpie all over him.

Okay. I can leave around 2:00 on Sunday. I'll even be leaving from the hospital, so maybe I can sneak some sedatives and we can drug him and get the job done.
