I never said it was legal. The highest I've seen around here is 65, although everyone drives at least 75.

You'd be a target for Mr. Bean and his car if you're driving a stupid Reliant Robin.

I don't really want to break the speed limits, lives are at risk.

I wouldn't have any problem with getting it up to the legal speed quickly though. The sound of engines.

110km/h on freeways is the fastest here now.
Before 2007, most of the Northern Territory here had no speed limit on major highways (unsealed) if I remember correctly

    Spoiler warning:

My dream would be to get the Ford Sierra Cosworth/Sapphire and to go to the Autobahn and see how fast I can get it to go.

Of course, I never want to leave the UK so that'll never happen.

I would say that just being in a moving car puts your life at risk, but you're right. I don't speed often, and have only gone 100 when there's no one else around or when it's late at night on the freeway. I'm just glad I haven't got a speeding ticket honestly.

If you like acceleration and roaring engines, chances are you'll like high speeds though.

Oh, darn. The most I ever managed on a behind-the-wheel was rear-ending the car in front of us at a red light. For some reason, the instructor was unamused.
Hey, first winter in five years that I haven't gotten into an accident yet. Assuming nothing happens before the end of the month...

120 kph on motorways like the M50, not that anybody reaches that speed.

Agreed. I don't want to kill myself or anyone else. I do intend to drive around a race track one day!

The roads aren't a race course.

Actually, going by this, the fastest you can go in oz is 130km/h in the Northern Territory.

The freeway isn't a race track? Seriously though, it's more dangerous to go the speed limit on the freeway over here than it is to just match everyone else' speed, especially considering how shitty most drivers are over here. The amount of times I've nearly gotten into an accident because of another driver is staggering.

There are millions of bad drivers all around the world though.

I intend to be an excellent drivers, surely all of those hours spent playing driving games should pay off?
