Maybe if I was born in a warmer climate, I wouldn't mind. But it gets decently cold here in the winter, and extremely uncomfortable in the summer. It's always ridiculously humid here. The worst I've ever felt was 112, and it was like being suffocated when you walked outside. I couldn't handle a hot place all the time.

Can't stand Summer if I've got no breeze. When I used to live by the river, Summer was awesome, but where I'm living now, Summer is just slow, humid suffocation. Hateful.

    I've always preferred winter.

I got SO MUCH ASS that way.
I barely remember what he even looked like. My glance in his direction was clouded by rage. Then I went outside and complained about it to my father.

Who had just picked my friend and I up. In his car with NO air conditioning. Ugh.

No, never. My boyfriend's from England. I think he hates the heat even more than I do. He's used to snow in September, and hot summer days being like 60-70 degrees.

They did, but it wasn't very comforting.

My apartment is constantly 65-70 degrees. I love it. It won't be too much longer until we turn the AC on and never turn it off until like October.

Pretty much. My city is right on the Strait of Georgia, across from Vancouver, so there is no escaping the water and humidity. When it gets a little bit cold, it feels like it's freezing you to your bones (I get colder in -5C weather here than I did in -40C weather back in Alberta), and when it gets warm it feels like a punch to the gut every time you walk outside. I can handle 40C weather back in Alberta so much better than I can handle 30C weather here, because at least it doesn't feel like my entire body has been turned into a walking sweatshop.

But so true about our ruined temperature levels. I have a friends from up north that moved down and I keep my apartment at 80 (That's comfortable to me) and they complain about how how it is.
... that is just sick. I keep my condo at 71F.

I can't remember the exact explanation behind it, but the humidity prevents the warm weather from evaporating from your body in warmer weather, which is why it feels so much harsher than it is. Or something. Fuck, it's 2:30 in the afternoon and I've only been up for about an hour, leave me alone.

Yeah, that's a helluva lot warmer than I've ever had to deal with. The hottest day I've ever had out here was 36C, and whenever I walked outside it felt like thirty pounds of sweat had been added to my body instantaneously. Blargh. I hope this summer isn't that bad.

You are right, I've always lived in the south of Spain, so I can't help it, I'm only happy if it's warm and shiny outside

The best days of the year are almost here

65 is when I start wearing a second shirt, because blanket is too warm and two shirts is two warm, but not as warm as the blanket.
