They sometimes have demos a few days early, or free avatars/themes. Right now I saw Sonic 1 for the Genesis for free, opposed to the few dollar price tag, but I don't see free game downloads too often.

So, if you spend money on discounted items, in total it's worth it. But if you're going for free things, not really. You get like a couple free PSX downloads, but you have to continue the subscription to actually play them.
