I personally loved some of the minor touches during the game that make more sense after the ending twist. Not sure if you paid attention to it, but there's a part where Geralt talks to Alvin about what he'd like to be when he grows up. One of the dialogue options leads to Alvin saying that he wants to be a knight who slays monsters just like Witchers - if you think about it, that's pretty much what the Order of the Flaming Rose does, the same order that he ended up joining as Grand Master. Sucks to be Geralt, giving ideas to his future enemy.
