    @Lasharus

It's not your fault man You’re the victim here.
It's the guy speaking crap about the others, when the main discussion is games.

Far Cry! (dont know why no-one has said this yet). The most over-rated POS I ever played. Not only was it no better than any other generic FPS (aside from graphics), the characters and story were both throwaway. Crysis on the other hand, was pretty impressive and actually did something different.

Also never understood the obsession with FFVII.. i mean, again the story and characters were ridiculous (yes, they're all over-the-top on every FF, but this more so).. on top of that it had that naff "nineties" Americanisation translation job. Eurgh.. and yes, I played it to the end

Good point, I feel victimised now. GIMME COMPENSATION ADMINS!

In all seriousness - agreed on the guy talking crap, and no worries

Back on-topic, before this thread is moved off-topic - Assassin's Creed is another one for me. Played it for a while, and while I agree it's a pretty neat game, it's just really not THAT much as it's hyped to be. I'll give them props for designing a fantastic engine for climbing all over stuff, but there wasn't much else to it

Gotta agree on AC. The climbing is great fun, but it gets old.

I'm somewhat reluctant to mention Kingdom Hearts, mostly because I haven't finished it yet. But I'm like 13 hours into it and I've yet to see anything mind-blowing.

I never understood what was so exciting about Kingdom Hearts, either.

AC definitely wasn't the best it could be. AC2 really improved in the formula, but also bored me to tears at the end. At least it had a better story. Did anybody ever play command & conquer 4? That game sucked compared to the older ones!

The only thing that kept me going was the whole Disney thing, really. Y'know, childhood nostalgia and all that. But the gameplay itself is repetitive as hell. It really just feels like a complete chore to play.

I sorry about with i say now... but i think The Sims series is overrated too. I mean, it's a simulator of real life! I play games because on him, i can be a warrior, a mage, a dragon slayer, or the boy from prophecy who saves the world! I dont want play a game when some of the objectives is brush my tooths and take a dump. And there's like 200 bilions of expasions, with add some dogs or luxuary furniture. I mean... c'mon!

Oh hell yes. I can hold a 5-page rant on C&C4, but that game really didn't suffer from overhype. It wasn't that hyped AND it was shit. Go figure.

Couldn't agree with you more with the Halo series, But I gotta hand it to Microsoft. They sure know how to bring in the money. Even if they piss their buyers of in the proses. With the Final fantasy series I was okay with 9. But the rest is really... well... i dunno they suck!

Very true, really not a fan of it. It just feels so pointless while playing it. There are some many awesome games out there! Why play something so boring as this?

Any game with the Microsoft Games label (Except a notable few, like Freelancer).

Yeah but most RTS's really don't get alot of hype these days also, apart from Starcraft 2, which rocks! But I guess I'll leave that for another forum lol. And well even though C&C 4 didn't get a lot of hype, It still didn't live up to the little that it got. But really left C&C fans like me with a very bitter taste in their mouths... Eyw can still taste it..

Oh and Did anyone mention Final Fantasy XIII yet? I really didn't know what to think about this game. It really didn't feel true to Final Fantasy to me. I cant really explain why, But it just didn't deliver. It took way to long for the game to open up and it actually felt if I was running in endless hallways from one to the next. Only waiting for another over dramatic cut-scene..

i agree with gare on kingdom hearts as well and whoever said god of war series i have played them both, one seemed like devil may cry spinoff with gods and such instead of demons and it was terribly glitchy if you got the wrong disks and kingdom hearts always left out some of the best characters in the final fantasy series that never got screentime which sucks. and i agree also on the sims games, do everything i can do in real life in a game, i'd kill myself just for owning something like that.
