Personal preferences. I dislike a lot of games that people seem to swear by. Although if I had gotten into them before I had played most of the other Zelda games, I probably would have enjoyed them more. It's the same reason I don't play most of the new Pokemon games; anything other than the originals just doesn't feel right to me.

I liked the 3rd generation, mainly because that's when a lot of the theory behind the stats and such got figured out.

It was fun to min-max.

Last Pokemon game I played was pearl for the DS. It was okay, i never did finish it though. :/

I remember playing the original Monster Rancher for Playstation and just sitting there with my buddy and seeing what monsters we could create from our various 100s of music cd's.

It seems like the full motion video is what gets the bad rap anyways. I doubt I'll ever actually end up playing them, but they didn't look too bad from what I saw gameplay wise.

Oh how wrong you are. The one I have for CD-i is horribly atrocious, Zelda: Wand of Gamelon. It's side scrolling "kinda" like Zelda II, did I mention you play as princess zelda? everything would be cool if hit detection wasn't retarded and you didn't move like you were always in slow motion. Anyways, it's probably the best in the series, right up there with Ocarina of Time.
