Default The Fighting Games Thread: The Movie

Dunno if this is already a thread, but I thought I'd start one where we can all discuss our favorite and least favorite fighting games, talk about the annoying crap found in fighters, and generally kick ass.

I'll start by saying dear GAWD I hope KOFXIII doesn't suck like XII did...

I mean the AI was just... just...

Killer Instinct , Nah I'm just kidding.

I want the Last Blade or the Power Stone.

My wai-fu, among many other wai-fu, and they are my current favorite. What? Too nerdy? Well, I think it is.

I like the quickness of street fighter, also mentioning that even the game says Ken's victories are cheap.

I loved KI, but can't play it anymore.. I'm terrible.

Man, I still play my SNES copy of KI to this day. I love that game. I usually pick Sabrewulf, not only because he's an awesome TJ Combo-eviscerating werewolf, but because he's a crossover character from one of Rare's early series', which I didn't even find out until recently.

Oh yeah there's a kind of oddball in my SNES collection: Power Instinct. I like the series, but it's just so intensely Japanese at times it can make your head spin. I still remember playing Matrimelee (Power Instinct 4, I think?) and thinking "What the hell is this and why is that man dressed as a dog?"

But the fighting is actually fun and pretty stylized. It's like a Japanese comedy fighting game.
