Why? I LIKE knowing what effect I'll have on people before I choose the option. I just did a demo playthrough choosing nothing but joking responses. I did that because I KNEW which options I was getting.

And why would it have LESS options on the completed game? The demo IS the completed game. It's coming out in like two weeks or three weeks.

You don't see the obvious ME influences? How could you not? Just watch the Flemeth cinematic. Pacing characters and main character speech was OUT OF THE QUESTION in DAO. As far as playing like ME, yeah, it won't, but that's because it plays like a better DAO. Back in those days, hiding behind cover and shooting were simply unheard of.
Ah, those? I actually haven't played DAO in ages, so I somewhat forgot about details like pacing characters and such. I mean, the fact that they weren't in DAO. Played a rogue as well in the first game, considering going either mage or warrior in this one. Both looked pretty damn fun to play.

Well, I mean, there were SOME characters who would move, but in this one, they actually do blocking shots and shit. It's clever camera work, mainly. Shows focus on the speaker and shows the viewer something the speakee wouldn't be able to see, like a smirk or something.

You misunderstand, I meant we'll have to wait for the full game to see what kind of scenarios it'll have that will require you to make a choice. And I meant compared to DAO, not the demo of DA2.

Combat felt really tedious in the later stages of DA:O, so speeding it up us not a completely unwelcome change as far as I'm concerned.

Also, the mage. HAVE YOU SEEN THE MAGE.
DAMN RIGHT I DID. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST IS THAT BITCH OVERPOWERED. LIKE, A BILLION TIMES MORE THAN DAO'S MAGE. WHICH WAS PRETTY BULLSHIT ITSELF.

I'm probably going to have to go with your choice as well. It felt rather fun to toss explosions and shit at people. Female mage all up in this bitch.

Yeah, at first I thought I was playing a DMC game or something, the slashes and attacks are quite stylish. And even if I like ME a lot better, I do enjoy the whole "stained with enemy blood fucking everywhere" thing after a battle.
Dwarves. The darkspawn are the orcs in DA's setting (of course, now they look like something out of jason and the argonauts....) And there were multiple forms of elf, dwarf, and human to go with different class choices. In this one, you're locked into human (quasi)noble. Even if you're a mage. And you're from a town with its own (heavily supplied!) chantry. Said town being about the size of an olympic swimming pool, and said chantry members being told to kill apostates on sight. The fuck?

Downloading Oblivion. Skyrim looks interesting. I want to know what I'll be getting into this holiday season. If anything at all. Also, Battlefield 3 looks AMAZING. If you like "Guys With Guns: The Realistic Edition" games.

People are gonna buy it, anyway. Hell, even the haters will at least pirate and play it. As for me, I just stopped caring about the series after the first one, aka CoD4. It just doesn't interest me at all.

As a muppet, I nearly flew off the arm in my ass when I saw BF3's trailer.

YEAH, NO PLACE FOR BAD COMPANY 2 FAGGOTS CONSOLE IDIOTS HERE, BATTLEFIELD 3 IS ONLY FOR PC HARDCORE MASTER OF ARMS WITH MILITARY KNOWLEDGE OF FUCKING PATTON.
I just love how people get absorbed in this so much. That said, I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT to get it, I'll actually pre-order it at my local store as soon it starts.

I liked MW2's single player. I play them for the hell of it, but yeah, I an understand people getting tired of it, not interested on it, hating on Activision, etc. To me it's hilarious when people get oh so high in their fucking horse to say that: "My superior intellect is designed to only play indie masterpieces such as Minecraft and Cave Story and not mainstream stuff that gets fed to ignorant mainstream people."

Yes, the hipsters are now playing games, god helps us all.

I was actually astonished at how Battlefield main series people hate so damn much on Bad Company, I didn't know that spinoff was so hated.

Point out that minecraft and cave story are mainstream and that real men are busy 1 life-ing crimson clover.
