And that's with a 10 Mbps line?
It really depends on whether they're selling by megabits per second or mebibits per second. Technically 1100 KB/s would be kibibytes. But if they're selling you the line of 10 megabits per second, that's about 1220 kibibytes per second download cap. So you're losing about 120 kB per second off what you should have due to loss at various connections or over the length of the wire.
And if you're saying you get 1100 kB/s over wireless, then you should shut your damn whore mouth and be glad you get even that much.
