HDTV is nice, but I don't understand the obsession with spending extra money for the ultrabestquality that exists, when in reality it's just slightly better than the notsohyped models. Unless you're running a cinema or something.
I am of the opinion that you should update your TV once about every five years, give or take, and that's about it. I know people who buy a new TV every year, to get the next "high quality" thing, and I find it's just a waste of money.
I was still using a 32" CRT up until two months ago. >.<
