I didn't see anyone else give an extensive reply to this, so I'll give it a stab.
There's actually been a lot of good stuff that's come out in the past year. Highschool of the Dead, Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, and the currently-airing Mahou Shoujou Madoka Magica (Or Puella Magi Madoka Magica, depending on where you're looking) are all pretty good for horror. First one's got a bit of ecchi.
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt is irreverent/dirty humor.
Black Lagoon is sexy action without being all about boobs. See the related group (link in Cosmic's sig) for details!
Kaleido Star came out a few years ago, but it's my guilty pleasure. Who cares if it's about a chick joining the circus? It's amazing.
Of those, only Black Lagoon and Kaleido Star have English dubs thus far. If that's your poison. But both dubs are actually pretty damn good.

Barely anything, connecting an SD card to it just uploads the pictures to Picasa. I think you can download some files, but they rely upon cloud storage.
I'm really unsure if I like it or not. It does some things well, some thing great, but some things awful. But I will admit that free 3G from Verizon, despite 100MB a month, for 2 years is kind of sweet.
