Lightbulb Intel GMA 900/950 Takes on....

Just a little thread series I thought up, Have you ever wondered what a game would be like running on a Crap older computer? nor have I but since I got one and WAY too much time on my hands Why not

    The Machine:

My Laptop which was donated to me for free which I fixed up and upgraded to the best it can be

    Processor: Intel® Pentium® M Processor 760 2M Cache, 2GHz, 533 MHz FSB
    Memory: 2Gb Elixer DDR2 PC2-6400
Cache Memory: 256MB Peak Xtreme X100 RS MMC
    Hard Drive: 120Gb Samsung Spinpoint M5 HM121HC 8MB Cache 5400RPM
Additional Storage: 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo
    DVD RW Drive: Lite-On SOSW-813S
    Graphics: Intel GMA 900
    LCD Screen: 14in 1280x768
Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio ALC260
Operating System: Windows XP Home SP3
Brand and Model: Hi-Grade Notino C2400 (Originally CT1 Upgraded Beyond Notino C2400 Specs)

Notes: Since I'm using FRAPS on these the fps can be up to half what they are normally just something to think about!

OK! First up was Half-Life Source

Anything Special: Nothing really just don't play it with a mouse pad!

Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People Episode 1

    Anything Special: Works flawlessly!

    Elder Scrolls: Oblivion

Anything Special: Required OLDblivion to get it to even start up, and randomly crashes.

    Hellgate: London (Patch 1.2)

Anything Special: Despite running at an average of 15 FPS it feels rather smooth and playable

More Soon... The good, bad and ugly of video games

    Fun thread, Kouen!
And don't forget there is 3dAnalyse.
That works with some games on my oldest laptop.

    Saw those.
And have you tried 3dAnalyse yet?
That can somewhat increase the games you can record...
    And gotta go.

I play mine with my Ps1 Controller, but to be honest, NFS1 has a better control scheme on the pads.

Like i thought before, that's actually a fairly powerful machine

I adored the Big Rigs and Garry's Mod vids.

Big Rigs because it shows that it even has some system requirements, despite it being the worst piece of shit ever made, and the Garry's Mod one because I don't think I've ever seen explosions QUITE like that before
