I wanted to go and troll him myself, since none of my nursing classmate understood the hilarious significance. But he's too young to understand.
His mother isn't allowed to have contact with him, and I don't think his father came in whilst we were there, or I'd have trolled them, instead.![]()
Seriously though, conscription is scary.
In my family, you're not allowed to complain about the slightest thing in your life, if you're anywhere near my grandfather.
"Ugh. I'm so stressed out about this test, I'm ready for school to be finished!"
"STFU. When I was your age I was being shot at in Vietnam."

Oh, so he's an orphan? More trolling material!
I know right? It's always sad when someone doesn't get a reference, I had that happening with someone regarding football (won't go in details, don't worry) and he was like...I don't get it.
How can you not get it? It was in 2001.
I was 9 years old back then.
Jesus Christ.
You wouldn't be a coward, you would be smart. Why the hell should the government have the right to send people to kill others and possibly lose their life for something they might not even agree with? You can be sure the government officials and their families won't be on that list of draftees either.
Hell no. I'd rather go to jail.

Not quite, but he's definitely going to have parental issues when he grows up!
It's so terrible. The only people I see, aside from my boyfriend and family, with any kind of frequency in any kind of social interaction, are mostly old ladies who think video games are like a cancer. "Bu--but it's so funny! His name is Cloud. You just don't understand."
I couldn't even come home and explain it to my boyfriend and have him understand the full significance.
I felt so soulless. ;___;
