I don't even want to know how thick it is right now...it's been a heavy freezing rain/sleet since 4:00 this afternoon.
Lets just hope that lvl 3 warning stays in effect!

Indeed. I may say my prayers tonight

The sleet is hitting the window here by me, and then every now and then it sounds like someone shot a BB at the window. I assume it's huge chunks of ice.

Or the neighbor kids with a BB gun

Work was canceled for me today and tomorrow, as was my evening class. Those are the pros of this weather.

The cons are: I can't pull out of my driving because I have to back up onto a hill to do so and the ice is probably half an inch thick now (and I drive a stick, so it's just a mess to even try), all I have to eat is canned soup and a jar of pickles, and I'm lonely like crazy. Times like these make me wish I had cable television and that I wasn't in the habit of eating out all the time.

    (I'm crying on the inside...)

The way I see it, playing online is a giant time sink that's really only fun with friends or once you're really good. Also, online achievements tend to require grinding, and for games that no one plays anymore, require finding people to boost them with. I'm kind of a completionist, so having achievements that will take a hella long time to get just sitting there kind of bugs me. And also considering that most multiplayer servers get shut down within a few years of launch, it seems like a waste of time to me.

To be fair, at least we're FRIENDLY creepy weirdos.

    Most of the time.

Plus we can always point out what we're eating just to be cruel.

For instance, I have some nachos heating up in the oven as we speak.

    Delicious nachos.

I'm primarily a single-player gamer, too, but I'm also the only one of my friends who has a PS3 and not an Xbox, and it gets a little lonely when I go to talk about a game and no one else has even heard of it. PC MMOs have been getting a lot of my attention lately because it's more social ( ) and I can talk about it to my friends later without their eyes glazing over in disinterest.

Haha, it's a comfort when the only person you've spoken to all day is the maintenance man as he's scolding you for breaking your garbage disposal (apparently if you don't turn it on for a month, it rusts. But I just don't have all that much to grind up, sheesh!)

Chew up 3 or 4 ice cubes in it, then run hot water in it while it's running. Do that a couple times a month and you'll rarely have any trouble.

Hahaha you guys are ridiculous. And mean.

The worst part of the day was when the Chinese delivery guy said he wouldn't bring me food.
Clam chowder for dinner for me!

Speaking of MMOs, I'm gonna hop onto WoW for a bit. Talk to you all later!
