Kind of not really. I've signed up for EI, which will pay for a portion of my regular rate, and my accommodations and course have been paid for. I was also given money for food allowance and course materials, but it was the same amount of money regardless on how much I spent on course materials. So I borrowed a lot of stuff from work.
I don't get paid my hourly rate, though, so if EI doesn't kick in then I'm not going to be paid for my time. Thankfully, I just got vacation pay right before I came up here, so it won't be too tight.
