I posted a translation of a relatively famous but untranslated Japanese movie on one subtitles site less than 24 hours ago. I googled it out of curiosity today, and now it's on about seven different torrent sites, several sets of Megaupload links, and god only knows what else. The internet is terrifying. Thank god I didn't leave an email address in the subs.

You said something about it being interesting. I cant have more than one "interesting" going on at once, otherwise I get too excited which leaves no room for anything else. Like school work.

Right now I am Modding a gameboy to have better sound control, modding a GB cart so it is reprogrammable, AND trying to figure out how to duplicate the cart programmer I found online. Makes me crazy.

Im so limited on supplies that the cost of purchasing them, would almost reach the cost to buy an already programmable cart...

Lmfao. Luckily, I know enough of these languages (with the exception of SQL and Python) that I can pretty much jump right in and stick with it, but I don't want to cram and forget it. Like I said, with OOP, once you know a lot about one of them, you know more than you realize about the rest.

I've spent DAYS (over the course of five years) learning PHP, but I never moved forward with it because I was looking at it wrong. Once I started looking at OOP, it became clear that THIS is what I should have been looking at when PHP5 first came out and I wanted to learn. When RoR came out and popularized the MVC model, I wanted to learn that, but hosting concerns turned me away from it.
I bought some Visibone reference cards for PHP, Javascript, and RegEx, but I didn't think about them as being REFERENCE cards. I thought I could use them to learn. That turned me away from all three. If you go here, you'll see what I mean. That doesn't help anything.

Java is just good to know. I didn't realize HOW good it was to know until I lost my job and wanted to get into programming. Java is STILL the most demanded language. I didn't realize it because I don't use it.

Python is just good to know because it can be useful.

Knowing SQL is useful for those times where you need to be versatile and are working with an OSS database or something like MS SQL.

The Weather Channel has finally posted a Winter Storm Watch for us, stating that 5+ inches of snow are possible from the storm everyone's been watching for ages. I'm so, so disappointed by the lack of snow thus far this season, I'll be absolutely heartbroken if they're wrong. Again.

And if it does snow, all the stupid college students will go running around in it and make it all ugly with their footprints.

Ah, I see. I'd be a little hesitant to translate anything Ray was fond of without being terribly familiar with it.

There's a button you can press when you're on the equip screen to toggle characters. I think it's either select or the shoulder ones.
