    So my little brother was out in the living room on the laptop. I told him to go to bed at 11:45. It is now 5 AM. So I took the cord and battery.

    It's not his laptop. It's my mom's. And I can accept staying up later on the weekend, but 5 AM is pushing it. When I was his age, 10 PM was staying up late on the weekend.
