    1. It installs over top of the official 3.55 firmware, it's as easy as any firmware update.
    2. You can go online with it installed, yes. But keep in mind that there is no guarantee that what you do with it is undetectable. (Read: Go online at your own risk.)

    I see. I'll wait for Sony's response to this before I do anything. I'm hoping some uber-talented modder can get some kinda proper PS2 emulation on it, then it truly would be an ultimate system.

    Yeah the old ones were pretty challenging as well. I'm glad that was retained in DKCR.

    Also almost finished with the female storyline in Murasama Demon Blade for Wii. Another awesome game that I highly recommend playing.
