I honestly doubt this will help anyone, but when I could not find my old PSX power cord yesterday, I made an educated guess and it worked.
Just thought you guys might like to know.

First Interview.... sees the couch
Hello, i am the casting Couch. you have probably seen me in locations that you can ether not tell anyone, or places you wish you never visited if you know what i mean
Maybe he meant the other one, for the psOne (not to be confused w/ the psx). This one happens to be a single metal prong with yellow plastic at the end. Its probably not suggested that you do it, since the box half way through the cord contains resistors and such, regulating the flow SPECIFICALLY for the device.
awful picture, but you can see that it is the same as which goes into the psp.
Spoiler warning:
EIther way, if he meant one or the other, it is still true
did none of you ever own the psOne?

You're both right:
Kouen, See the power input on the PSX (right side)? It's rectangular:
And so is the original cord:
I was once told to never assume that cords were interchangeable, but using the PSP cord works fine.
I was aware, but I never tried it.![]()
I'm not THAT stupid.![]()
