I play far more TF2 than is healthy.

Mainly play Medic (especially on the rare moments I'm playing in a PUG or slutting), with spy and heavy being my other major ones of late. But I'm pretty competent with all the classes.

JDownloader won't accept valid MU links.

Feel my pain! JDownloader killed a couple thousand links a couple days ago. Is it saying they are offline or just ignoring the links?

Because digital distribution is stupid . Maybe if they learned how to break files apart instead of having you download 4GB at once it would be better.

There were some updates recently so that may be the problem. I usually just restart or re-download JDL if it gives me trouble .

I don't get why it's so stupid. You can download shit with the click of a button and Steam even auto updates it for you with all the patches if you so desire. Not to mention many games that are otherwise difficult to track down can be easily bought digitally. GOG.com says hi.

Also, you don't have to download 4GB at once. You can pause and continue later from where the download stopped, no need to start from the beginning. Again, it just shows you've never really used Steam that much.

Steam is pretty cool. It helps with decongestion and it feels good when it's cold out but it makes the mirror all blurry and damp.

Ouch, I've got about 1TB of overall free space at the moment. I've been considering getting a Blu-Ray drive so I can stop buying DVDs.

that's the thing with me too, I kinda wish they'd at least send you a physical copy after buying a game. It grants me some solace that I can install a game without needing internet.
