I still have my original copy of Hybrid Theory.
What?!

Oh that's right, Matrix is from what, '99? Geez.
Don't worry, in 2020's we will revere things from the 90's as the cool retro shit like we do with the 80's.
Agreed.
I still have both Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water (SAY THAT THREE TIMES FAST!) albums from Limp Bizkit.
Because wearing Vans, baggy pants and a red NY Yankees cap was fucking cool back in the day.![]()
Alright, I'm off. I'll see you guys in a few days!![]()
Ugh, FFXIII makes me want to punch faces in. It does so many things well, but other things it does awful. It would be alright if I just hated the game, but some of game is amazing. It's like sticking your hand in a bag with both gold and needles. There isn't enough that I don't want to stop playing, it seems to be an equal mix of 'ohhh, awesome', and 'were they smoking pot making this game?'.
I don't think I started the first Hang-Out thread, I'm almost positive it was Gnafu or Aadon, or someone from the retro crowd.. But I do think I might have been the one to standardize it\make it stick. I think what happened was, I figured people were always going to spam and that rather than endlessly fight an uphill battle against it, or try to control what can and can't be a discussion all of the time.. that it might actually be better to just give everyone a place to speak their mind.
In other words.. If you can't beat them, join them.
Kids these days. Tisk tisk.
I had a CD player by the time those albums were out, but I remember rocking the walkman back in the day. The only tape I had was Hello Nasty by The Beastie Boys.
It was definitely a good idea, I'd say. Having a place for everyone to talk about random stuff is nice. Although it seems there's still people that end up spamming other threads anyways.![]()
